Evesham Twinning Association

The Evesham Twinning Association is a non-profit organization that is devoted to supporting cross-cultural relationships through travel exchanges between the towns of Evesham, NJ, Evesham, England and Dreux, France.

Evesham, NJ became aware of Evesham, England due to a wayward tax bill that was sent to Evesham, England instead of Evesham, NJ in 1986, just two years before Evesham, NJ was to celebrate its tricentennial.  The Evesham Township Council invited the mayor and other residents of Evesham, England to help celebrate the 300th birthday of the town.  Thus began a lasting friendship between the two towns of the same name that are located an ocean apart.

Evesham, England has long been involved in twinning with other European cities, one of which is Dreux, France.  Through this link, Evesham, NJ entered into an official Friendship (the stage before Twinning), with Dreux, France in 2002.
